PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN “DAMPAK NEGATIF GAME ONLINE” MELALUI MEDIA POSTER PADA SISWA SMPN 79 JAKARTA

This research aims to analyze the increasing knowledge about the "negative impact of online games" after the education using posters on the students of 79 SMPN Jakarta. This type of research is an experimental research method using the One-group Pretest-Posttest Design with a quantitative approach that uses a questionnaire as instruments. The population in this study is 252 students of Grade 7 SMPN 79 Jakarta who play online games or not. T-test showed sig (2-tailed) with a result of 0,000 <0.05 then H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It could be concluded that there were differences before and after being given education by using poster media. The pre-test results were 57.50 while the post-test were 77.58. Thus, there is an increase in knowledge about the negative impact of online games by 20.08 on students. Therefore, it can be said that poster media is able to increase the knowledge of students of SMPN 79 Jakarta on the negative impacts of online games.
